Welcome to Team OTO, where we stand for Freedom, Preparedness, Self-Reliance, and Personal Responsibility.

Team OTO was established in 2023 by Howie Kafka and Justin Wertman, to provide a comprehensive, one-stop solution for self-protection.  Our founding principle is that in any undesired altercation, everyone should be prepared to Own the Outcome, by being equipped to defend him or herself as necessary.  The four quadrants of the reticle in our company logo represent the four primary training disciplines our company was founded upon:  Firearms; Self-Defense; Medical; and Mindset.

Firearm ownership carries with it a responsibility to attain an appropriate level of proficiency.  Emphasizing safety first over everything else, Howie and Justin -- as credentialed Law Enforcement, Armed Security Guard, and Civilian Firearms Instructors -- teach defensive firearms skills and related tactics to students of all skill levels.  Our public and private courses range from the introductory "16+2" NYS Concealed Carry class and Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun fundamentals, to specialty classes like Low Light Tactics and Red Dot Operation, to advanced Room and Structure Clearing (CQB) and Active Shooter Response skills.  Click here for an overview of the classes we offer, click here for our currently scheduled classes, and sign up for our emails by hitting the "Join the Team" button below to get notified of new classes as they're scheduled.
